Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal is a public trust with more than 85 years of philanthropic experience. Having started in the year 1919 with a handful of students by its founder “Pujya Chhaganbha” with the principle of “Kar Bhala Hoga Bhala”, the trust today has become one of the biggest in the state of Gujarat catering to various sections of education the trust has established. Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal is at present running Schools ranging from Primary to Secondary to Higher Secondary both at Kadi and Gandhinagar.

It has to its credit distinguished visitors like Sir Sayajirao Gaekwad III and Mahatma Gandhi, who have been very vocal in their praises for the trust. Mahatma Gandhi in his praise had said the following words: “This trust is built on pillars of service to mankind and not money and it’s good that you have made the right choice by sending your children to the institutions managed by these citizens of the country.” The trust is being nourished and nurtured by its alumni who occupy very distinguished positions in the society ranging from Ministers to Doctors to Engineers of repute. To cater to the needs and necessities of the society, the trust in the year 1965 established its first college at Kadi in Science and Arts and later in the year 1991 it also commenced a Commerce and Arts college for women at Gandhinagar.

With the ever increasing need and necessity for quality education, the trust in the year 1995 embarked in to Technical Education with the commencement of K. B. Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, the first self financed college in the state of Gujarat. From then on, the trust added MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA programs both at Kadi as well as Gandhinagar and also added M. Pharm. in Pharmacology under the name “D. R. Patel Institute of Post Graduate studies in Pharmaceutical Bio technology and Research” with an intake of 10 students, the highest in any Post Graduate Pharmacy college in the state of Gujarat.

The trust with its ambition of providing good quality education in Engineering has established a college at Gandhinagar under the name “LDRP Institute of Technology and Research” in the year 2005.The students’ intake being 240 students. The trust has also started MBA program in LDRP Institute from the year 2006 with an intake of 60 students.

S.K Patel Institute of management and computer studies (SKPIMCS) was established in the year 1998 to provide higher educational facilities for training young students for careers in management, computer studies and other related fields in any form of organization. It has been accredited B+ by NAAC Committee and it is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, with initial affiliation to the Gujarat University now that SVKM trust is become a university , KADI SARVA VISHVAVIDYALAYA, the institute has become a constituent of it.

The institute has provided all the required infrastructure and excellent facilities to the students right from the inception. The institute right from its commencement has been sincerely committed to the cause of professional education in the areas of management and computer studies and hence has spared no efforts to create an academic environment conducive for effective learning. The institute's main attempt was to meet one of its cherished goals of providing the industry with a reservoir of managerial talent with a sound educational foundation enhanced with good practical orientation.

To this end, the institute has taken a concrete and positive initiative to mould the student's attitudes towards their work, towards others and most importantly, towards themselves. The attitudes being those which would distinguish them from the others, help them to be humble, to be open to change yet be prudent enough to judge when and which change is for betterment.
